Shellfish

While certain foods can make your asthma worse, some foods can help. According to the American Lung Association (ALA), foods with vitamin D and vitamin E can reduce coughing and wheezing, thus making asthma less uncomfortable. Moreover, foods that contain vitamin A can strengthen your lungs.
